K2: Mesh Project Bag Class - Friday 5/17



This class will cover a few bag basics:

- Using stabilizer/interfacing
- Putting in a zipper
- Bias binding

Students in this class would be constructing a mesh front project bag. The finished bag measures approximately 11”x16”.




Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Perfect for beginner wanting to learn a few bag making basics.



Student Materials Needed:

- Fabric - three fat quarters in coordinating prints/colors
- Soft and stable - 13” x 18”
- Fusible interfacing - 1⁄4 yard
- Mesh fabric - 8 1⁄2” x 17”
- Zipper - 24” single-slide handbag zipper
- Basic sewing supplies (e.g., rotary cutter, cutting mat, ruler, sewing machine, thread)



***ITEMS LISTED IN PURPLE WILL BE PROVIDED.  THEY ARE INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE CLASS.

Requirements:
You must come in before class to choose your fat quarters , mesh, and zipper. This will allow you to bring the thread you want on class day. Thread is not included in your class price. We do carry an assortment of colors in Aurifil 50wt.
