Beyond Beginner: Garden Stars Sampler

Ready to take your quilting skills to the next level? Our Beyond Beginner Quilting class is designed for quilters who are comfortable with basic piecing and want to build confidence with more detailed blocks, precision piecing, and quilt assembly techniques.

In this class, we’ll be making the beautiful Garden Stars Sampler quilt by Sherri McConnell of A Quilting Life. This sampler-style quilt features a variety of classic star blocks and is the perfect project for developing accuracy, improving consistency, and gaining confidence with intermediate quilting skills.

Throughout the class, students will practice:
• Precision piecing
• Accurate cutting and trimming
• Flying geese and star block construction
• Layout and fabric coordination
• Quilt assembly techniques

This class is ideal for quilters who have completed a beginner quilting class or who already have basic quilting experience and are ready for the next step.

Finished quilt size: approximately 51½" x 66½"

Supply list and fabric requirements will be provided upon registration.

Time Required for Class:
8 hours (spread out over 2 days)
Note that there may be some work to do between the 
classes in order to complete the project by the end of the
second day.
